Kurt has 15+ years professional experience working in both public and private accounting. During his tenures at both a top 10 international firm headquartered in Ohio; CBIZ, Inc. (NYSE:CBZ) and a regional firm in Maryland, Kurt has provided financial statement audit, review, and compilation services across many different industries.

From a tax perspective, Kurt focuses on providing strategic tax initiatives that independently create value for business owners.

Kurt has focused his efforts within the non-profit, construction, real estate, and automotive industries. His tenure in private accounting includes SOX 404 ICFR framework, with a company deemed a large accelerated filer under SEC regulations and listed on the NYSE. Kurt also worked for a high profile non-profit in Washington DC.

He has extensive experience assisting businesses with critical issues, including revenue recognition principles, design of internal control systems, and complex financial reporting. Kurt has been instrumental in adding value to the clients he serves and enjoys partnering with businesses on each of their unique journeys.
